The Huffington Post announced today they are looking for citizen journalists for their concert blog "in an effort to grow our community of young, passionate citizen journalists."
I personally wonder whether they are truly trying to help eager aspiring journalists, or getting some nice local coverage in an inexpensive way.
They say "It is the perfect way to get develop your journalistic skills while hearing the music you love."
I'm assuming they'll give these young journalists free press passes to local concerts, so it's a great deal on both sides. The Huffington Post gets free labor, (no money mentioned in the article?), while it's an opportunity for music lovers to work on their journalism skills.
